I'm a little behind posting my photos. I was sick and I was away and that is the end of my excuses! I will post 5 per day until I get caugh up.

New52 - Feb 16, 2013

Thought maybe I should catch up my New52 posts. I have Week 6 and 7 to add.

Week 6 - I hosted my first ever Stampin Up party. I go once a month to a rep's house and the attendees share the hosting duties. Feb 9 was my turn and I'm getting so much free stuff it's insane. I will take a photo of everything I get next month.

Anyway, I had a really good time with the ladies and we made this card (I'm receiving this stamp set for free!):

Week 7 - This week's New52 is completely different. In case you don't know, I'm a bookkeeper and I run my own business (with my daughter) from home. Photo Project - Feb 5, 2013

Project Life - Feb 5, 2013

I have been plugging away at my Project Life again. Here are few photos to let you see what I've been up to.

The top two slots are just simple journal cards I made with washi tape and labels. The bottom was cut on the Cameo from a purchased file.

This is a screen shot of some journal cards and labels I made up in the Silhouette software. It was quite simple!

 

Here is one of the journal cards now stamped "Wednesday" and matted on blue cardstock.

And this one is my favourite so far! I added a strip of scrap patterned paper, a bracket (cut on the Cameo), washi tape and two flowers with brads.

Project Life - Feb 2, 2013

I've managed to get another couple pages done in my 6x8 Sn@p book Project Life. I may even catch up one day!

For the top two slots I cut the arrow and the "seriously" on the Cameo.

The bottom slot is of the Canadian Scrapbooker's annual Scrapbook Carnival. I try to go every year and manage (somehow) to support almost all of the exhibitors!!

The top right slot is a journal card I used the Print & Cut option on the Cameo. The typing was done using the computer and then the card and the "Laugh" was cut after.

The bottom slot's title was cut on the Cameo using a cool font called Bewitched. I love it.

 

Here is a screen shot from the Cameo software of what I've been working on today. I made all these myself (except the small labels). I can change anything on them including the colours, titles and fonts. I can also keep the lines, make grid lines instead or take the lines out entirely.

But the biggest plus is I can type right on the card BEFORE printing them and then the formatting is perfect. I love this machine.

Here are the first two photos for February.

032 - Heartfelt Sentiments (My engagement, wedding and 10-year anniversary rings. A little worn but it's been almost 30 years!!)

 

033 - Shadow (From a dried arrangement that is almost 30 years old and I still love it. Maybe I'm weird.)



Layouts Done - Feb 2, 2013

I am also a scrapbooker, of course. I have only done a couple layouts so far this year that I will post here. There is one more but I'm not sure it's "right" yet. I'm still waiting to see.

This one is one that I started quite a while ago but needed a ScrapShotz layout tag to get it finished. This is a very old portrait of Taya that needed to get into an album.

This one was also done for a SSZ layout tag. This set of china is a family heirloom and I wanted to get the story of it down in writing.
