Project Life Jan 31, 2013

Another project I'm working on is called Project Life. This is a generic scrapbooking term that covers a whole bunch of ways to scrap your day-to-day life. Most scrappers still do 12x12 layouts for their special stuff but Project Life is more like a journal with photos.

Many people do PL in large 12x12 binders but, as I don't have little ones at home any more, I do mine in a 6x8 binder. I use Simple Stories Sn@p Albums.

I am way behind (I'm working on October now) but I don't really care. It's not a race! This post will be photo-heavy again as I catch you up on my album and then, hopefully, as I carry on with the blog I'll post a few photos every few days.

(Click on the photos to see them larger.)

Title page

Story of Dad receiving the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal (posthumously)

Some of the things I did during my week in Nakusp with Mom.

Yeah, Simone and I pretending we know about harvesting.

Things at my parent's place.

Phew! I'm still tired from that day!

When hubby was back we went the the fall fair.

Another full page.

I started going to a Stampin' Up cardmaking party once a month in the Fall. We make a card and a silly little punchy animal each time. It's fun.

The card on the right was a Print & Cut done on the Cameo. I printed the text first and then sent it through the Cameo for cutting. It's actually WAY easier than using a typewriter because you can type right to the bottom.
Photo-taking day out in Kananaski Country. Beautiful.

Corey's new hairline and hubby sitting for cellphone photos.

More cuts on the Silhouette and my smashbook/journal.

Ever play card tag? Someone makes a card, emails you a photo of it and you use it for inspiration to make a one and then send a photo of yours along to the next person. It's fun to watch the progression.

I love to bake!

Finally got a smartphone.

Got Dad's medal framed for Mom.

Got hooked on Guild Wars 2!!

Was given a very large box of scrappy goodies. Love it!

Photo with my smartphone and journaling about another dream I had about Dad. I feel it's important for me to write them down.
